We are slowly moving toward a new Abnormal! What is this new “normal” going to look like post-Pandemic? When will stress-levels release their grip on us all? At least YOU will have the chance to resume some sense of normalcy in your life…
There is a group of young people who have lived the “Pandemic Panic” lifestyle for many years now: They are children removed from abusive & neglectful families and placed in the Foster Care System through NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN! They are traumatized victims of broken homes, sex abusers, drugs dealers and addicts. Some are just plainly NOT WANTED by their biological parents. There are nearly 500,000 of them in the United States right now! Each year nearly 30,000 of them Age Out and most are totally on their own – without family support to fall back on.
As America and the rest of the world begins to emerge from their own forced-lifestyle changes- I urge you to look around you and seek to help the youth left behind in Foster Care and reach out to help them in some small way!

in YOUR COUNTY (If not, ask to start one).
Visit National Foster Youth Initiative to learn about Aging Out programs to support in your area. You can also do an online search for Foster Care in your own state and volunteer or get involved.
Help a lonely traumatized/victimized youth to feel wanted & cared for. They will NOT get released from their FAMILY PANDEMIC. They are stuck right where they are until they either get adopted or age out of the system.
We should all consider reaching out to some kids in foster care locally. Remember how excited YOU WERE when you got zoom or FaceTime calls during YOUR LOCKDOWN at the beginning COVID-19? Many kids in Foster Care don’t get to return to “normal” because their families don’t want them. YOU really can make a difference. Will you?
